The Buffalo Rumblings Podcast Authentic Dion Dawkins Jersey , episode 22: Josh Allen, o-line struggle vs.ls welcomed the other Ohio-based NFL team to New Era Field in Week 3 of the preseason and suffered a disheartening 26-13 setback to the Cincinnati Bengals. On the latest edition of the Buffalo Rumblings Podcast, co-hosts John Boccacino and Anthony Marino offered up their thoughts on what they liked and what they didn’t like from the loss to the Bengals, while trying to maintain perspective after the Bills’ lackluster effort on Kids Day. If you came to the Bills’ dress rehearsal preseason game late, consider yourself lucky, because you didn’t miss much from the sputtering Buffalo offense. The first-team unit struggled against an aggressive and talented Bengals’ defensive line, ruining the professional starting debut of prized rookie Josh Allen. Allen was sacked five times and completed only 6 of 12 passes during a scoreless first half. While Allen failed to direct any scoring drives, it wasn’t all his fault, as he barely had two seconds to search for a receiver downfield on most of his passes due to porous play from the offensive line. The patchwork offensive line should be a major concern for Bills fans heading into the regular season. The one positive for the first-team offense? The struggles came as Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy and starting left tackle Dion Dawkins were on the sidelines for Week 3 of the preseason, but there is major work to be done in the trenches for the Bills. The good news? Second-year QB Nathan Peterman continued his strong preseason play as he makes a push to be Buffalo’s regular-season starting quarterback. Playing behind most of the same offensive line that was pushed around by Cincinnati’s defensive line in the first half, Peterman played the entire second half, completing 16-of-21 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown.Among the other things Boccacino and Marino liked from the loss: the emergence of tight end Jason Croom, who has played his way into the discussion for the No. 2 tight end job, surpassing Nick O’Leary, Khari Lee, and Keith Towbridge on the depth chart. Running back Marcus Murphy also continued his strong preseason, rushing 11 times for 58 yards (5.3 yards per rush) Authentic LeSean McCoy Jersey , while linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was in on seven total tackles, burst through the gaps to make several stops, and held his own in pass coverage. On the flip side, the duo discussed disappointing performances from the entire offensive line, linebacker Matt Milano, and cornerback Vontae Davis, who was burned on a 57-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to John Ross on the first play of the game. His day didn’t get any better after the opening snap, and now Davis could be in jeopardy of losing his role as starting CB opposite Tre’Davious White. As awful as the Buffalo Bills have been on offense this season, there have been signs of life at points during a few games. Whether it’s a positive drive that ultimately ends in a field goal or a string of runs that works, we have to keep pointing at the positives. Otherwise http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-lorenzo-alexander-jersey , we’ll just go insane thanks to the constant swell of negativity. With a team in transition, it’s hard to find individual performances to spotlight, but for one young Buffalo player, his sophomore campaign has been a significant improvement over his first year in the league. With a matchup against a tough Chicago Bears defense on tap for Week 9, positive fantasy football vibes will be hard to come by this week. However, fantasy points come from surprising places every week, and this game could be another example of that.WR Zay JonesStarting a Buffalo wide receiver in your fantasy lineup is either a sign of madness of ineptitude, or at least it would appear so on the surface. However, in a week where there aresix teams on a bye, you may be looking for help in plenty of strange places this week. Jones is second on the Bills in targets (42), and he leads the team in receptions (25), receiving yards (281), and receiving touchdowns (1). None of those numbers are awe-inspiring, but when considering the magnitude of Buffalo’s ineptitude on offense in combination with the struggles Jones had as a rookie, they are positive nonetheless. Even if Nathan Peterman starts on Sunday, Jones could be in line for a high-volume showing. If Terrelle Pryor, signed on Tuesday, is up to speed enough to be active for the game http://www.billscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-phillip-gaines-jersey , then even more chances for Jones will arrive, as Chicago will have another NFL-caliber option to cover in Buffalo’s passing attack. This one’s crazy, but I have a feeling that Jones will be heavily involved in the game plan, and I think he’ll have a fantasy flex-worthy day.K Stephen HauschkaBuffalo’s best offensive scorer is its kicker. As long as the Bills are inside the opponent’s 40-yard line, Hasuch-money can give the team something positive. With a game plan that is almost certain to err on the side of extreme conservatism, especially if it’s another Nathan Peterman start, the Bills will be content to run, chew up clock, kick field goals, and try to limit the Bears’ offense to field goals of their own. Hauschka is a great investment if your kicker is on a bye, and a good one still even if your regular kicker isn’t off this week. Bills D/STAs much as I like the Bears’ offense, they still have a raw, young quarterback starting on the road in a difficult environment. Buffalo’s defense looked rejuvenated on Monday night against the New England Patriots, and if they can avoid a let-down (whether due to the fact that they were just hyped for a divisional opponent, they know the offense isn’t going to do much of anything, or they are just sick of carrying the team on their collective backs) and play to their potential, then they could create some havoc for young Mitchell Trubisky and company.
